Apecatu Expeditions is a company dedicated to adventure tourism.
The name has Apecatu comes from Indigenous origin and means "Knower of the Ways."
Located in the extreme south of Bahia, in the city of Caravelas, Apecatu Expeditions, tear up their first road maps and a prime spot for beautiful beaches, mangrove swamps, rain forest trails and an exit point for the dive sites around a very stunning place, the Abrolhos Archipelago.
Working with two boats: Trawler Catamaran and Titan Neptune, Apecatu Expeditions offers safety, comfort and quality on each boat trip.
The trip also has activities performed during the Living Aboard, accompanied by the delicious cuisine served on board.
Diving operations are conducted in compliance with all safety standards with material and equipment regularly reviewed and tested, operated by qualified personnel.
We also offer other options such as: Whale watching, Snorkeling, Baptisms daytime and evening courses from Beginning to Advanced and Specialty Courses.
The Abrolhos Archipelago was the 1st Marine National Park in Brazil, a beautiful place that needs to be preserved, it is an honor to be part of the archipelago history making a conscious tourism and helping to promote the importance of the place to our environment.
