ABICAB

ABICAB was created on January 19, 1957 by the then President of Nestlé, Dr. Oswaldo Ballarin. In 1990, the Association's representation was extended to the sectors of cocoa, candies and their byproducts, and was subsequently renamed as ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DA INDÚSTRIA DE CHOCOLATE , CACAU, BALAS E DERIVADOS – ABICAB (BRAZILIAN ASSOCIATION OF CACAO, CHOCOLATES, CANDIES AND BYPRODUCTS INDUSTRY).<br />

Since 1995, ABICAB has been systematically reorganized and now represents companies outside the State of São Paulo. Consequently, both national and international sectors of the industry are being treated in a more encompassing and expansive manner.
