We have four areas of production:<br><br>(1) Defense and Security: The use of robotics for fighting incidents is a beneficial tool and prevents men from being exposed to danger, becoming themselves victims. ARMTEC Tecnologia em Robótica points out this application of robotics, and develops products and equipment that offer lower risk to humans. The use of firefighting-robots and automation of fixed water-cannons, for preventively or directly fighting accidents in which there is fire and leak of toxic and/or flammable gases, is quite comprehensive, being used in several areas.<br><br>Our products in this area include:<br> SACI ROBOT - Support System for Fighting Incidents has already received the four major national technology awards, in less than three years.<br> CACI - Automatic Cannon of Combat to Fire: Automation system to be used in water cannons. <br><br>(2) Pavement: The national economy sustainable growth passes through the transportation infrastructure issue, particularly considering the road transportation. However, most of the Brazilian roads is in deplorable condition, increasing costs in general and even discouraging the development of vast areas of the country. An innovative action is needed to reverse this critical situation. In this context, ARMTEC has developed systems for prior evaluation of paved roads, contributing for an increase in the paving quality of Brazilian roads.<br><br>Our products in this area include:<br> SIEMBS - Integrated System for Testing Bituminous Mixtures and Soils -- used for determining the resilience module for bituminous mixtures and soils.<br> SISTRAN - Integrated System for Normalized Traffic Simulation -- used for obtaining proof bodies by compacting asphalt, and for applying a simulation process on them.<br> MTB - Brazilian Thermal mixer -- The project is an equipment for production of asphaltic mixtures (MIXER), which basically consists of a container in which are placed the components of asphaltic mixture that it intends to obtain, being the container under the action of a heater and a mixture shovel.<br><br>(3) Oil and Gas: This sector is showing continued growth, providing excellent opportunities for national companies. It has also attracted the attention of foreign investors, who started considering Brazil as an important option for conducting businesses. This trend has been strengthened by the institution of the Mobilization Program for the Oil and Natural Gas National Industry (Programa de Mobilização da Indústria Nacional de Petróleo e Gás Natural - Prominp), for its multiplier impact and increasing capacity to attract major entrepreneurs. The intention is to make the Brazilian productive sector assume its role as Petrobras supplier. ARMTEC integrates the Network Petro CE and is also a member of the Oil, Energy and Gas Productive Network Companies Association of Ceará (Associação das Empresas da Rede Produtiva do Petróleo, Energia e Gás do Ceará – APEGCE).<br><br>Our products in this area include:<br> MEDGAS --- System for monitoring a GLP gas storage and distribution plant, composed of a set of sensors to be installed in the cylinders that compose the customer’s plant, and a supervision system to be installed in the supervisory room, where operators can monitor, in real time, the state of each cylinder.<br><br>(4) Others: ARMTEC products are designed with modular technology, meaning that these products are composed of interconnected equipments that are activated individually. This allows a module to be used in another product. The products may include interface software, thus enabling a person to control the system. The company follows the principle of social and technological innovation, that is, to conceive products with social responsibility, contributing to the promotion of sustainable development in Brazil. ARMTEC is also a patent factory, meaning that each product or software conceived can generate a patent (invention, utility model or software registration). The results obtained by ARMTEC in the robotics field are opening up new expansions in the market.
