- Surface Treatment
SUPEX is a surface treatment that promotes a 100% larger contact area with the bone than implants with a smooth surface. Its rough yet uniform surface is achieved through a patented sequenced acid treatment.
This surface provides better healing conditions and reduces osseointegration time. Treatment consists of three stages:
1 - Submersion in hydrofluoric acid
2 - Submersion in a mixture of hydrochloric and sulfuric acid
3 - Submersion in nitric acid

With this treatment, we achieve a homogeneous porosity [micro and macro porosity] ideal for the interaction between implant and bone tissue.
