Our activities began in 1963, amid the trend in Australian rice industry, the migration of rice cultivation in central Brazil to the south of the country, in the form of the Agricultural Cooperative Joint Itaquiense Ltda. in a warehouse in the City of Itaqui, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul In 1974, as pioneers in our industry, we started distributing rice in plastic containers of 5 kg situation currently consolidated by the market and praised by consumers that, until now, buy mainly rice this type of packaging. The following year, we expanded our operations by opening our first center storage, distribution and customer service, the City of São Paulo, State of Sao Paulo. We continue expanding our operations on implanting in 1985, a rice mill , also in São Paulo. In 1987, we expanded our business to begin the marketing of beans also with our own brand "Camille".
