CITAB - Ceramica Industrial de Taubate, founded in 1884 in Sao Paulo Great Area, was the first company to produce sanitary ware in Brazil, working with its own trademarks that are ACQUA and HERVY.

Its mission is the attainment of excellence through technical advancements combined with social responsibility and respect for the environment.

CITAB was pioneer in Brazil in the utilization of technologies aimed at reducing the usage of water in sanitary ware and has been very active in developing new lines that use significantly less water in each flush cycle.

Up to date, we have 3 HET lines certified by IAPMO and CSA, having our fourth line launched soon.

Commited to environmental concerns, CITAB produces these new products in modern energy efficient kilns: we have three English Drayton ovens in our 35,000 sq meter factory, which allows productive capacity of 200,000 units per month.
