Coopercachaça

We produce of craft way the cachaça “Terra de Ouro”, that gathers tradition and technology in one product. <br><br>Produced at region of Salinas, world capital of Cachaça, the “Terra de Ouro” conserve in it soft aroma and delicate flavor, centennial secrets of mining tradition. <br><br>We produce two types of crafted cachaça: <br><br>TERRA DE OURO: “Special for Caipirinha” <br>- White cachaça; <br>- Soft flavor and delicate aroma; <br>- Ideal for all of kind of cocktails, like caipirinha. <br><br>TERRA DE OURO: “Stored in balsam tuns” <br>- Golden cachaça; <br>- It rests in balsam tuns for a minimum of 02 years; <br>- To taste pure or “on the rocks”. <br><br>Production : <br>The crafted cachaça Terra de Ouro is made from sugar cane produced by small producers of cooperative; the sugar cane is taken until the nearer factory, they are eight distributed by the region, where the cachaça is produced. After the extraction, cleaning and standardization, the cane broth passes for a process of natural fermentation. The distillation of the obtained wine in this stage occurs in copper traditional alembics. The distillate divides into three parts: the head, the heart and the tail. For the production of the cachaça Terra de Ouro it is used only the intermediary fraction, the "heart", scorning the other, that contains impurity, which some of them are toxic. <br><br>This separation is accomplished from sensibility of "alambiqueiros" that received the knowledge and the taste by the craft pasts generation in generation, all dedicated to the art of producing cachaça. After this phase, the cachaça is transported until the cooperative headquarters in Salinas, where is stored and percolated until the composition moment of the "Blend". After ready each lot is once analyzed in laboratories specialized to guarantee the final quality of the product.<br>
