GETEC Trading manages all import and export processes, fulfilling the necessary requirements, as for nationalization and internalization of goods, keeping its focus on the processes performance together to a significant general cost reduction, either to those customers who use FUNDAP system or to those who work as trading, at any port or airport in Brazil: the aim is to supply customers demand and needs with specific and customized solutions.

GETEC Trading is settled in Vitória, in the state of Espírito Santo and its business office is settled in São Paulo. Its work profile can be defined as wide and flexible, which includes several products from several size ranges, such as: raw material, capital goods, building, consumer goods, medicines, food, cosmetics and electronic equipment.

GETEC Trading believes that the best way to work is creating straight and lasting relationships, sharing aims, results and challenges with customers and partners.

GETEC trading comes from a group of companies that have more than 50 years of experience in International Trade.

The first company of the group was founded in 1953 by the brothers Airto and Gilberto Tarantino in São Paulo city with the aim of distributing tractor parts. Soon the brothers understood the need of acquiring parts and components that were not manufactured in the national market straight from the manufacturers. At that moment, the competence of the group to work in the international market was identified: G Tarantino S/A Comércio e Importação was born.

The first challenges were in creating a trustful and consistent import logistics, besides of establishing the distribution and delivery of those parts to the customers’ base that, at that time, consisted of farmers and building companies.

The company developed and consolidated its position bringing up new businesses.

GETEC trading was founded in October 1994 by the brothers Antonio and Gilberto Tarantino, who belong to the second generation of the family, with the intuit of intensifying the group’s working in new areas of international trade.
