In 2008 Glitter celebrated the silver jubilee with the market. Brought high quality products and easy to use is the essential of Glitter, since it was founded on June of 1983. The first step was offer Polyester Glitter for artworks and fashion. Then come purpurin, aniline and School Glitter. “Who doesn’t remember the little dots on the square yellow label?” asks Mr. Mauricio Franchi, director and founder.
More colors and shine was added with the acquisition of the Squizz Relief Paints, in the early 90’s. As the word “easy” is in the company’s DNA, Glitter launched some products in glue segment and one of than was the Fabric Glue. This product’s success was enormous, due to its quality and resistance to washing, that takes Glitter to increase the mix in the glue sector, such as the first Spangle Glue and Stonework Glue. Believing in the customization market, Glitter developed the first Brazilian water based acrylic paint for leather, the Leather Paint.
One of the dearest products by Glitter is the Pintakara face paints. Product indicated to children, with more than 3 years old, and adults, was readily accepted by schools, theaters and the youth in general and today it is indispensable for making children’s parties more festive. In 2007 Glitter received the Excellence Award in Stationery for the best product in the Arts Category with Pintakara. A great victory!
