The Brazilian Slate is a fine-grained metamorphic rock, with laminar structure and extraction done through the process of cleavage (foliation). Due to their homogeneity in terms of chromatic, its natural flatness, ease of maintenance and affordable prices, the slate stand out as an excellent choice for coating.
