The history of Madeireira Uliana began around 1890, when Luigi Uliana (Luiz Uliana) emigrated from Veneto, north region of Italy to Brazil.
His goal was to make the America, or discover new opportunities. There was an incentive for immigrantes, because Brazil had to replace slave labor in coffee farmin, but Luiz brought in his luggage a tool that changed his life and the future of his followers "the knowledge"
