James Lisboa is an official auctioneer certified by the State of São Paulos Trade Board (JUCESP) since 1987 (No. 336). Mr. Lisboa specializes in art auctions, having worked in the art trade business for most of his life, being part of the second generation of his family’s art business.

Over the past 19 years, he has made important auctions of art in the State of São Paulo, achieving great prominence in recent years, as he has commercialized important collections of Brazilian art. Besides being an auctioneer, he is responsible for the selection and evaluation of works of art.

The experience speaks volumes. On stage in front of the microphone on the night of an official auction and to hundreds of people, Mr. Lisboa shows his complete familiarity with works of art, as his curriculum includes more than 2,000 works of art auctioned between Paintings, Drawings, Sculptures, Antiques and some engravings.
