Description
The LLK has developed the computer vision system LLK RADEC VISION totally without contact with the carrier and free from moving parts, in which a camera and an optical system are installed to monitor the belt reliably in an industrial environment. Thus, the system monitors the position of the belt edges and detects, promptly, the defects of tears and misalignments, with fully configurable alarm parameters.

The RADEC Vision uses the principle of examination of the condition of the conveyor belt's own position on the mat. To segment the image and allow the algorithm to analyze this position, a linear laser is used to mark the carpet, creating a luminous high intensity line. From this, it is possible to check the position of each edge of the conveyor belt and indicate the occurrence of failures.
