Paper Creasers are used to avoid the cracking of the toner along the fold line when digitally printed documents, brochures, menus or any other digital print is folded.  Creasing, which is very different from folding or scoring, uses a pressure bar that runs the complete length of the print.  This pressure bar pushes the toner deeper into the paper fibers and also creates a hinge effect that reduces the stress of folding on the paper fibers.<br />

The CR818 Creaser is a low cost, manually operted unit that offers a cost effective solution for short runs.  Using the CR818, most users can crease about 200 prints per hour.  The CR818 creases sheets up to 14" x 18" in size.  This unit features all steel constuction and handy ruler guides to make double folds very easy.  Made in the USA.
