Metávila heaters are high-performance enclosed fireplaces. They heat up to 5X more than a traditional masonry fireplace, as they perform the DOUBLE COMBUSTION. The double combustion process takes place inside the burn box in 2 steps:

Step 1: It consists of the natural burning of wood, a process that also occurs in other types of fireplaces.

Step 2: It consists of the burning of the gases generated by the first burning. When we burn the firewood, gases are released that in ordinary fireplaces come out through the pipes of the chimney and are released into the atmosphere. In Metavila Heaters, these gases accumulate in an internal piece called TEMPLADOR. When the internal temperature exceeds 400 degrees, these gases combust again, turning this burning into heat and closing the process of DOUBLE COMBUSTION with only one fuel: firewood.

With this process of double combustion our products are environmentally friendly, because fewer polluting gases are released into the atmosphere.

The 1290GF Double Combustion Heater model with Lyon Furnace has a large heating capacity. It does not take up much space and heats up to 5X more than an ordinary fireplace. Its heating capacity is 210m³ (cubic meters). The calorie is measured in M³ (cubic meters), however, it is easy to find out in M² (square meters). Simply divide the total heating capacity by the height of the right foot of the environment where it will be installed.

Example: 210m³ (cubic meters) (total heating capacity) / 2.7 (standard height of the right foot) = 77.77m² (square meters). That is, if we take into account a standard ceiling height of 2.7m the Double Combustion Heater with Lyon Oven heats environments of up to 77m² (square meters).
