People usually think that importing an aircraft depends only on their dispatch agent. How mistaken they are! <br><br>For PLANAER this process begins with a very deep investigation on CLIENT’s juridical and administrative structure. Our main goal is helping our Client to rationalize his importation costs. <br><br>Such rationalization includes correct Agreement elaboration, choosing entrance harbour, assurance and transport companies contracts, among all other processes in a case-by-case evaluation.<br><br>We cannot forget that brazilian Government holds high importation taxes and any mistake may generate high tributes.<br> <br> <br>AIRCRAFT IMPORT FLOWCHART <br> <br>1. ANAC- Agencia Nacional de Aviaçao Civil (Brazilian aviation agency) <br>- COTAC – Importation request form – (it requires research in advance in order to chose the best Agreements, looking forward for lessen taxes);<br>- Taxes payment<br>- RAB – Registro Aeronáutico Brasileiro – Brazilian Aeronautics Registry – (it needs some sort of consulting for verifying, acording to Client’s needs, the best way for aircraft registration);<br>- Taxes payment<br>- At this time, it is necessary to verify if the aircraft’s foreign documentation is in accordance with Brazilian authorities requirements. <br> <br> 2. Brazilian Federal Bank<br>- Where the agreements are presented, well writen and in accordance to legislation.<br>- At this time, being careless may result in big future losses;<br>- Taxes and tributes payment <br> <br>3. Federal Treasury Office<br>- Company’s registry,<br>- Importation License Request (LI – Licença de Importação) – (after being aproved by ANAC, this document will authorize the good or aircraft to get into Brazilian territory)<br>- Taxes and tributes payment and dispatches; <br> <br>4. ANAC - Agencia Nacional de Aviaçao Civil ( Civil Aviation Agency ) <br>- RAB – Aricraft inspection supervised by PLANAER;A inspection made by PLANAER will conceal all aircraft inventory, log books, avionics and other parts acquired by the client;<br>- Aircraft registry and Airworthiness Certificate issuance. <br>
