Pipes and connections - Teflon coating®

When the coating process is normally done by shirtshirt.

The TEFLON tube® undergoes a small reduction in its diameter and, under pressure, is introduced inside the part. Next, the coating is normalized, achieving stress relief and perfect molding on the inner surface of the tube.

By this process, even if the inner wall of the tube presents irregularities, the coating will be perfect, avoiding the so-called "false wall", sensitive to weather.

In the case of the virola*, all work is done hot and with devices suitable for tube expansion.

The temperature is controlled throughout the process ensuring that there is no rupture of the virola, which would compromise any coating.

Both in cold reduction and hot expansion, TEFLON® should be well sintered or compacted. Otherwise, the material will break.
