For some time, POLIMOLD has developed a standardization concept to mold bases that innovated the manufacturing process of injection tools. A concept which consists on using standardized elements, reducing manufacturing costs, improving quality, enhancing interchangeability, and especially enabling users (tool makers and designers) to focus on their business specialties. <br><br>In 2005, POLIMOLD developed a new family of mold bases following international dimensional and coordinate standards; now, there are 53 new sizes of conventional mold bases and 30 mold bases with floating plate, the result of so many assembly alternatives is a line with more than 800, 000 combinations! This new line comprises other new features: <br> All mold bases are available with and without fixture rim; <br> Until eight different plat thicknesses with a maximum standardized dimension of up to 196 mm; <br> Two types and steels; <br> Six options of extracting set assemblies; <br> Three options of mold columns and guides; <br><br>Even with such wide range of standardized mold bases, POLIMOLD can provide special mold bases manufactured according to customers designs and specifications, even if they feature special components, different plate thicknesses, different assemblies or number of plates.
