Since Danilo Barbosa's great-grandfather, Elias Barbosa, purchased the farm in the 1900s, the Barbosa family has been dedicated to cultivating coffee. Three generations later, the family continues to work together to produce and export their harvests.

Fazenda D'barbosa specializes in producing a range of high-quality coffees that are farmed using sustainable methodologies. The farm is committed to preserving local wildlife and has recently set aside 186 hectares of land as a nature preserve.

Upon harvest, the farm delivers fresh cherry to its processing center, where it is laid out in parabolic drying beds. The parchment is regularly turned to ensure that it dries evenly.
