Description
According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, of the 9.7 million Brazilian citizens (5.1% of the population) who have some kind of hearing impairment, 2.5 million do not understand Portuguese and do not use Portuguese to communicate.
Brazilian Law No. 10.436/2002, regulated by Decree 5,626/2005, officially recognizes Libras as a language.
Under this Law, Libras is recognized as the form of communication and expression in which the visual-motor linguistic system, with its own grammatical structure, conveys ideas and facts originating from deaf communities in Brazil.
In order to assist communication among the most diverse social groups, we provide a Libras interpretation service, and other related services.
