Qualicafex Ltda.

Qualicafex was founded in 2002, in the heart of one of Brazil’s most important coffee producing areas, on the border of South Minas and Mogiana Paulista, with the aim of linking specialty coffee buyers with Brazilian growers.

Our business strategy is based on two basic principles – transparency and reliability – that have led the operation to become a success and demonstrated that Brazilian specialty coffees have multiple uses for our clients, who have responded by buying increasing volumes over the years.

Our “modus operandi” is simple. Growers that are allied with the company receive strong support in terms of coffee processing. During the harvest lots of different varieties and originated from distinct systems of preparation are selected by a qualitative standard, always considering the optimization of quality.

Once available, the best coffee lots are offered to the market always granting the first call to buyers that already have a previous connection with a certain estate or origin. Once the buyer approves the sample, his offer is discussed with the grower that authorizes the sale. Shipment logistics and quality control are under Qualicafex’s responsability.

Buyers have open access to all information related to the estates, while growers receive full information on the buyer and prices negotiated. The results of all operations are fairly distributed between the grower and Qualicafex.
