Description
Sodium Carboxy Methyl Starch is a starch ether derived from Starch. It is soluble in water under room temperature and forms a colorless, transparent viscous liquid. It can also replace Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose in fields like Textile sizing & Printing, Corrugated Paper, Paper sizing, Oil well Drilling, Water Based Distemper, Oil Bound Distemper, Electrodes, Ceramics, Pesticides, Foundry, Adhesives etc.
Sodium carboxymethyl starch (CMS) is an anionic polymer material. The appearance is white or light yellow solid powder,odorless and susceptible to moisture. It will be directly dissolved in water. The aqueous solution has good viscosity, stability, protective colloidal properties and film-forming properties. It is not prone to corruption. Stable under strong alkaline and weak acid conditions, and precipitation will occur under strong acid conditions.

Application
This product is widely used in petroleum, daily chemical, textile, construction, thickening, bonding paper and other industrial fields. CMS in papermaking, coating, putty powder and other applications to adjust the rheological properties of coatings, water retention, CMS adhesive liquid transparent, delicate, low viscosity, strong adhesion, fluidity, good solubility, with good stability and permeability, CMS is a dry strong agent of cardboard, and can be formed with PVA synthesis of oil resistant and water-soluble film. High performance CMS reactive dye composite printing paste, good rheology, high paste rate, suitable for reactive dye printing in textile printing industry, can replace sodium alginate in whole or part, as printing paste. After printing, feel soft, clear round, full color, smooth lines, high color rate, good desizing. In other fine chemical industry, can be used as thickening agent, suspension agent, stabilizer, film forming agent, emulsion, filler, excipient, plasticizer, reinforcing agent and other industrial additives.
