Description
Gate valves are used as the hermetic blocking device of operating medium (water or steam) of critical and under critical parameters in the cooling and subsidiary pipelines of fossil-fuel power station units with nominal power rate of up to 1200 KWt. Gate valves can be used only for blocking or unblocking of working medium, it is strictly prohibited to use gate valves as regulating devices. When using gate valves in pipelines which have a closed gate warming-up mode with filling up the inner cavities with water, the valves should be equipped with special unloading device. Such unloading device can be constructed as a bypass with installed DN20 stop valve connecting the inner cavity of the gate valve with the feeding pipeline of the working medium. The other way is making a 5 mm bore in the gating device of the valve from the feeding pipeline side. The design of the gate valve provides the blocking or unblocking of the working medium in either direction of its flow. The valve body has the welding deposition seal of Cr-Ni alloy which provides better sealing. Globe valves are connected with a pipeline by welding. Globe valves can operate with any medium flow direction.
Leak resistance (standard GOST 9544-2005) - Class A, B, C.
Climatic versions (standard GOST 15150-69) - U – for moderate temperature zone; Т – for tropical, high-temperature zones.
Placement category (standard GOST 151500-69) - 1, 2, 3.
Force on manual back-up device (Hand wheel or handle) - not more than 300 N
When ordering globe valves with electric actuator it is necessary to specify the technical features of the required actuator.
