Globe valves are a part of two-position stop valves group, which means that these valves can only be used to block or unblock the operating medium. Blocking and unblocking is carried out by means of shut-off device reciprocal movement. Globe valves are connected with a pipeline by welding and can be installed in any position in the upper semi-sphere with reference to horizon. The design of the globe valve allows it to work in either direction of the media flow. The valve body has the seal of welding deposition of Cr-Ni alloy which provides better sealing. Control of globe valves is either automatic by electric actuator or manual by hand wheel. The valves’ remote control is also possible with electric drive and joint clutch.
