The trajectory of SAUR Equipment SA located in Panambi - RS, started in 1926 when German immigrant Richard Saur installed in Panambi / RS, a workshop for repairs scales, wood stoves, plows and other utensils.

In the following decades the small company started the manufacture of steel windows, hinges for sofa beds and bodies for transporting meat.

In 1956, in his booming, SAUR is now managed by Ernesto Saur, which gives continuity to the activities of the parent and, in parallel, is dedicated to the development of new projects, seeing the performance in other areas.

In mid-1970 a larger factory is built, allowing the expansion to the Agricultural and Industrial sectors, from manufacturing platforms for unloading bulk materials, metal structures and equipment for forklifts.

In the 1980s, the hinges and steel frames are no longer manufactured, resulting in the increase of Agricultural and Industrial Divisions, and the insertion in the Automotive industry. An investment that paid off and led to SAUR in 1997 to expand its industry and build another new area, the Factory II, totaling about 13,370 square meters in size, equipped with modern production equipment.

The performance segment Forest took place in early 2000, giving the brand PENZSAUR. From 2009, to offer more quality and technology in their products has partnered with European companies, expanding the range of technology and equipment for cargo handling.

Currently, SAUR is a leader in the marketing of equipment for forklifts and unloading systems for bulk materials, as well as a reference in the production of equipment for areas Automotive, Construction and Forestry.
