About Decumbens: "Decumbens, also known as Australian Brachiaria is drought resistant, fits well in humid tropical regions. It is somewhat cold tolerant and develops in different soil types, but requires good drainage and average fertility conditions, vegetating well in sandy and clay soils. Recovers rapidly after grazing and has good shade tolerance. The closure of the soil is good and so is used in areas of steep."
