Parallax is an online process monitoring system in the steel sector. It consists of robust hardware and software developed by Subiter. The system allows the detection of surface defects and evaluation of dimensional characteristics in an automated and contactless manner. The software has two modules. The first is Parallax View, which allows real-time monitoring of the process, and the second is Parallax Explorer, which allows navigation in the database, traceability of products and delivery process quality indicators.
