Description
Cocoa nibs are small pieces of crushed cocoa beans, or cocoa beans, which have a bitter chocolate flavor.
They are produced from grains derived from the Cocoa Tree Theobroma, also known as the cocoa tree. Cocoa beans are dried after harvest, then fermented and broken to produce small, dark pieces, or cocoa nibs.
They are an excellent source of fiber, proteins and healthy fats, nutrients that help promote the feeling of satiety. They are rich in many minerals, such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, manganese and copper.
