Suplicy Cafés Especiais (Specialty Coffee) was born from the passion of Marco SUPLICY for fine coffees and willingness to explore this little-known market in Brazil. Marco had significant contact with the coffee since childhood, it was born in one of the most traditional families in the coffee industry. The dream of creating a high quality dinner was held in 2003, with the opening of the first store in the upscale neighborhood of Jardins, São Paulo.<br />
At the heart of the company's business is the appreciation of the profession of barista, who is a specialist, a trained professional and highly skilled to the correct preparation of specialty coffee drinks, and enabled also to explain the concepts of good tasting.<br />
Suplicy Specialty Coffee has been a pioneer in bringing to Brazil in 2008, the Latte Art Championship - the art of making designs on the surface of milk-based drinks espresso. The event brings together baristas from all over Brazil and seeks to promote creativity, exchange of knowledge and competitiveness.<br />
