The Dräger PSS® 3000 is a high-performance standalone mask for firefighters. Combining comfort with exceptional pneumatic performance, it is designed for applications where simplicity and ease of use are essential. Lightweight yet robust and easy to put on, this advanced standalone mask offers reliable respiratory protection.

The Dräger PSS 3000 has one of the lightest autonomous respiratory protection equipment supports. We apply the same advanced technology and design philosophy that resulted from our professional open circuit standalone mask line that is class leader. The high durability costal support is equipped with our ultralight transport structure composed of high strength carbon composite, which has excellent chemical resistance properties, impacts and high temperatures.

Suitable for use in all conditions and quick to put on, the lightweight straps have been specially developed to keep fit in a wide variety of ambient temperatures and conditions. Using materials that have good chemical resistance and abrasion, in addition to meeting the heat and flame requirements of EN137:2006 (type 2).

Fast and uncomplicated to repair, the PSS 3000 autonomous respiratory protection equipment incorporates numerous unique design features to ensure that downtime, and consequently costs, are kept to a minimum during maintenance. All major components have simple and fast disassembly and reassembly. Harnesses are attached to the transport structure by a single-piece retention method. In addition, the first stage pressure reducer, integrated into the transport structure for more protection, can be promptly removed.

Improved transport system
Using the latest pressure mapping technology, we have developed a transport system that follows the natural contours of the body and thus gives greater stability and reduces back tension, stress and fatigue. The circumvented transport straps give maximum comfort on both shoulders and waist, and optimizes load distribution with comfort and safety, in line with the centre of gravity of the body. Even with the emphasis on comfortable use, you can be sure that we do not compromise on the choice of the toughest and most durable materials available to minimize the impact of the most hostile environments.

Integrated hoses
Both the medium pressure air supply hose and the manometer hose are integrated into the transport structure to reduce the risk of getting punctured or trapped, resulting in better protection and safety when entering and working in confined spaces. With the possibility of rearranging these hoses from side to side to meet the customer's preferences in terms of access to the manometer, this aspect of the design also facilitates the replacement of the hoses.
