With the continuous search for biosecurity in water sources, Ultrafiltration (UF) is the filtration technology that has been gaining the most relevance in water treatment projects due to its simple and robust operating conditions that require low energy consumption providing high quality water.

Its operation is based on a physical barrier, composed of a semipermeable membrane, where all suspended solids of the order of 0.1 to 0.005 micrometers – the thousandth part of 1 mm – that encompass not only microparticles, but also viruses, bacteria, macromolecules, colloids among others, providing a water of superior standard.
