Description
The KX-UR-300 is an affordable, high-performance underwater robot. Its control unit and software source code are all open source, which has sufficient scalability and convenience for secondary development. Its outstanding performance makes it ideal for practical applications such as underwater inspections, scientific research and underwater exploration.
Vector thruster configuration and heavy configuration
The ROV thrusters use a vectored arrangement with a high thrust ratio, allowing for precise movement in any direction. The ROV has 6 thrusters in the standard version and 8 thrusters in the Heavy Duty version, allowing for six degrees of freedom control and a larger load capacity.
Depth level
The KX-UR-300 is designed for a water depth of 100 meters (330 feet). The actual pressure test was 300 meters, and the indicators of each module were normal.
Modular frame design and scalability
The KX-UR-300 is an extremely scalable observation-class ROV with an open frame that houses electronics and battery compartments, thrusters, buoyancy foam and ballast. This simple design is rugged and scalable, making it easy to attach to other accessories, including cameras, forward-looking sonar, underwater GPS, and more. Users can design their own frame to replace the frame of the KX-UR-300, allowing them to implement any style of underwater robot!
