Product introduction

The guide roller (also known as the guide wheel, the guide wheel) is an indispensable part of the wire export during the rolling process of the mill wire. Its requirements: high hardness, good wear resistance (life and high-quality bearings match), good thermal conductivity and other requirements, a certain degree of red hardness, especially high-speed wire rolling (rolling speed between 80-120 m/s). In the current market, most guide wheels are made of steel materials (especially in the domestic market), which are less wear-resistant, have short service life and have high replacement frequencies, so the economies of scale of wire are limited. However, steel-knot carbide has obvious advantages in this respect.

2. Product application

2.1 is 55% lighter than tungsten carbide rollers and 20% lighter than tool steel, so the guide roller accelerates from standstill to 35,000 rpm without damaging bearings.

2.2 Very low coefficient of friction and self-lubrication performance, so the working part of the guide roller wear is small, the yield can be greatly improved.

2.3 The coefficient of thermal expansion is close to that of bearing steel. When quenched, the bearings do not get stuck. The thermal expansion coefficients of titanium carbide and tungsten carbide are very different from steel. Therefore, steel-knot carbide guide rollers are more conducive to bearing anti-jammation capacity than two carbide guide rollers.

2.4 Microstructure is titanium carbide and high chromium tool steel, with good resistance to heat fatigue.

2.5 Antioxidant, less magnetic, non-stick steel.

2.6 Annealing hardness is only HRC45-48, easy to process, quenching, only a little fine grinding can be processed into a finished product, processing costs are low, so the price is also low. This is also one of the main reasons why titanium carbide guide rollers are better than tungsten carbide guide rollers.

2.7 Hardness HRC62-67, good wear resistance. The service life is 8-10 times that of high-speed steel.

2.8 Absolutely dense, with almost zero pores, so it does not break when used and can be reused.

2.9 Compared with similar products abroad, the mill MT10 is cheaper, greatly saving production costs.
