We are interested in establishing a long term relationship but kindly request a soft offer to get things started; from there we would plan to move smoothly to an LOI, ICPO, etc. We also have a few basic, but important, questions we would kindly request that you address.

What is the best pricing (US$______/MT, CIF) you can offer, assuming:
Initial term: 12 month contract minimum, to be renewed
Quantity: Approximately twenty (20) 40' containers per month
Payment: Initial orders: 30% upon ordering, remainder 70% against verified B/L
Port of Discharge: Hong Kong and major ports in China, tbd
Please confirm that the above specifications and parameters can be met, or if not, what specific areas would be affected?
Also:
-With regard to recent news of meat contamination in certain plants in Brazil, could you please confirm whether any of these were with your company? If so, which exact plants were involved in the contamination and which exact plants would be involved in the processing of our order? We heard that the involved plant identifications were:
-SIF121 and SIF18
What company are those plants a part of?
What plant identification would be involved with the processing of our order(s)?
I'm afraid our Chinese end-buyer is quite concerned about this and has told us they must be certain that any of the involved plants not be involved with their order.
-I believe you all can ship to HK (and Chinese ports). However, my question: After arrival at one of those ports, are these containers - without question - acceptable to Chinese government inspection and customs clearance - so that they may pass unfettered into the hands of our buyer representative in China? Would such clearance be reliable for just HK, or if not, for which other large Chinese ports? Does the paperwork your company provide ensure that the containers will pass through customs and Chinese clearance or are other certifications from the China side necessary to ensure this? Again, these kinds of things must be clarified for us to proceed.
-Our end-buyer may wish to start with a trial of 1 container to verify satisfaction, buyer acceptance overall? Once we provide their address and relevant contact information what is the timing involved before this initial test container would arrive at HK or Chinese port?
Once the above can be confirmed, to protect all parties involved, we assume you will be fine as well with our also co-signing a non-circumvention/non-disclosure agreement which we will be happy to furnish.
We look forward to hearing from you on the above and to then hopefully proceeding beyond the above to the next series of steps toward establishing this relationship.
Kind regards,
Ler mais
