Chapada Explorer began to be organized in 2001 and was officially born on 13 August, 2004. The motive for its creation was in answer to an expectation of the majority of visitors, which is to travel in personalized groups made to measure, making use of sites with much respect. And thus we made it, always offering the most of re-encountering nature during the excursions, taking the visitor to contemplate its beauties, get in close contact, touch, see and listen to its sounds.

The founder of Chapada Explorer is Alberto Krebs, Tourist Technician and Regional Tourist Guide, born at Chapada dos Guimarães and in contact with nature since childhood. He left Chapada to study, travelled, saw new places and returned to put in practice his idea of congregating first-class professionals with whom to make possible the excursions in all the State\\s regions.

Nowadays several tourist professionals, mostly accredited by Ministério do Turismo, work with Chapada Explorer, as well as backwoodsmen and other professionals indispensable to the accomplishment of the tour in the real spirit of ecotourism.

Chapada Explorer organizes and conducts with utmost care the tours in the Mato Grosso Amazon, Pantanal, Savanna and Araguaia, handling excursions for leisure, study, adventure, observation as well as scientific, cultural and other special interests.
