Sondotécnica was founded for the purpose of carrying out soil studies, designs and supervision. Throughout its existence, it diversified its operations and currently carries out highly specialized engineering designs, thanks to the international standard competence and technical excellence of its team, focused on the fields of Transport, Sanitation, Energy, Irrigation and Civil Works.<br>With the flexibility to operate in various segments, amongst the principal services performed, the following can be highlighted: feasibility studies; preparation and coordination of environmental studies and technical support in obtaining the licenses necessary for the implementation and operation of ventures; master plans; basic and final designs; inspection of fabrication, technical specifications, equipment erection; pre-operating and commissioning tests; technical assistance and construction supervision; management of designs and works.<br><br>To provide support to this diversification, Sondotécnica has an Information Technology Service Unit to support the research, studies and development of designs, through its documentary resources, information from which can be retrieved from the principal databases available in the company\s network and via the Internet.<br><br>The purpose of this unit is to establish conditions make available knowledge at the time it is needed, based on the Japanese just-in-time management philosophy, a model that coordinates production with the specific demand, in other words produces the items and quantities necessary at the opportune time to satisfy the demand, bringing a competitive advantage to the company and clients.
